Do you remember riding in the "way back"?  I do.  As a kid, we'd go on road trips and the kids would ride in the back of the station wagon - riding backwards and watching the miles click away.  We'd play slug bug, and different license plate games.  We'd arrive at some place to camp, or view or hike or whatever.  It didn't matter so long as someone unrolled the window of the back, let down the tail gait and let us out :)
